Some other good tips include making sure you know which enemies can be targeted by your Titan while you’re in the Titan form. The enemy doesn’t have to be inside your Titan to be vulnerable to a rapid-fire Titan shot. Likewise, some of the Rift missions and boss battles will have very heavy defense shields and armor. This is why it’s a good idea to play the missions as a Titan, since all the quests and bosses take place on hovercraft. Also, using a combination shield generator and Titan class weapons really helps to lower down the recharge time for your exotic gear.

The secret is using the right combination of both the exotic gear and the right Rift missions to level up quickly. The bounties are very easy to complete and they drop rare items that drop from enemies you destroy during the mission. You should always try to complete as many bounties as possible, since the rewards are high. Sometimes, it can actually be worth more to kill an enemy instead of completing a bounty, since you get an exotics blueprint for that enemy instead of the usual blueprint.
